Juazzelyn A. Barrera, LPC

Owner of Inspiring Hope Counseling, PLLC

Childhood can be full of big emotions that are hard to name especially when a child has experienced change, loss, trauma, or moments where they feel misunderstood. My approach is gentle, creative, and developmentally appropriate. Children often express themselves best through play rather than words, so therapy may include play-based activities, storytelling, art, mindfulness, and age-appropriate coping skills. These tools help children explore their feelings, build emotional awareness, and learn healthy ways to manage stress and big emotions. Therapy is always tailored to each child’s unique needs, personality, and cultural background. Together, we work to help children build confidence, resilience, and healthy coping skills—skills that support them not only in the present, but as they continue to grow, learn, and navigate life’s challenges.

Our team of professionals are not only highly qualified and skilled in working with diverse groups, but come with invaluable experience that makes them standout above the rest. We value our clients and their stories.
